February 9, 2010 - Chart Night, Fund Raiser & Silent Auction

Chart night continues to be one of the most popular meetings each year. This is a great opportunity to come and pick the brains of club members on the what, where and how of their secret spots. Local experts will be on hand with charts laid out for different areas from Southern NH to Boston. We also hold our annual “bucket” raffle fund raiser with an expansive list of fly fishing and fly tying items for the taking. It is a very fun night and our major source of generating the funds needed to run the club. This meeting is open to the public free of charge.

Capt. Reilly McCue chases striped bass and bluefish in the Merrimack River and surrounding areas from his camouflaged duck boats. His presentation will include slides and video and cover tackle, techniques, feeding habits and fishing locations around the Merrimack River estuary.

April 13, 2010 - Sight Fishing for Striped Bass

May 11, 2010 - Salt Water Fly Fishing – Lessons Learned

Rick Little will discuss how converting from fresh to salt water fly fishing can be intimidating. Rick’s presentation looks at ways in which he applied his understanding of fishing streams and rivers to the challenges of saltwater. He will discuss flies, equipment and approaches that a freshwater fisherman can use while fishing coastal estuaries.

June through September - Club Trips

Club meetings throughout the fishing season are held on the water. Club members will organize a series of boat and shore trips throughout the season that are open to all club members.  For boat trips, club members without boats will be teamed up with boat owners.  Both shore and boat trips are a great way to meet fellow club members and learn new fishing grounds.
